Jennerstown Borough Park & Nature Preserve
Jennerstown Borough Park is particularly known for its spectacular display of spring wildflowers. An active floodplain, a mature northern hardwood forest, and a playground make this a great place to enjoy year-round!
The Park property consists of 223 acres, primarily forested with oak, maple, hickory, and cherry. The Park encompasses a mile of Beaverdam Creek and a mile of Card Machine Run, both high-quality cold water fisheries, as well as a third of a mile of Pickings Run, a designated Class A wild trout stream with a population of naturally reproducing native brook trout. The floodplain associated with these headwater stream bottoms creates diverse natural wetland habitat.
